Hey folks-
As promised, in addition to our new weekly Development 101 newsletters, I’m launching the monthly Q&A.
If you subscribe to The Bright Build newsletter, you have access to the Q&A.
I love talking to folks, whether they’re aspiring developers or have twenty projects under their belt. There’s something about building, both homes and community, that gets me up (very early) in the morning. So, let’s talk!
Every month, I’ll respond to the top 3 questions and share my thoughts, advice, and experiences on design-driven, community-focused development and the moves and mindset crucial to making these things happen.
Click on the button below, and it will take you to our Bright Build Q&A platform. Leave a voice memo, and I’ll republish select questions and my answers in an upcoming newsletter. This is a fantastic way to ask questions that maybe aren’t related to whatever developer topic we’re talking about in a given week.
*Please don’t use your last name in your voice memo, and yes, you’ll have to opt in so I can use your voice memo/publish your question.
Hi Sean! My question would be - what is the right size project for someone to start with? Obviously don't want to bite off more than you can chew, but need something with some meat to it in order to make it worth the time and effort. So for someone who has done some single-family remodels and new construction, what are a couple options after that but before you do a 50+ unit building.
